Key Guidelines for Indian Nationals:
- Avoid Travel: Indian citizens are advised to avoid all non-essential travel to Iran until further notice.
- Stay Safe: Indians currently residing in Iran are urged to remain extra cautious, avoid crowded areas, and stay away from protest sites.
- Mandatory Registration: All Indians living in Iran, including students and long-term visa holders, must immediately register themselves with the Indian Embassy in Tehran to ensure quick assistance during emergencies.

The situation in Iran has turned critical due to widespread protests against the government and rising inflation. Hundreds of lives have reportedly been lost in the crackdown. Furthermore, the Donald Trump administration has adopted a stern stance against Iran, raising fears of a potential military escalation.
