Bhuj, Kutch : Under the visionary directions of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a landmark training initiative has commenced at the Air Force Station Bhuj, famously known as the ‘Defenders of Kutch’. Conducted by the Indian Air Force under the aegis of the South Western Air Command, this marks the first-ever 'Sanyukt Prashikshan' (Joint Training) between the Armed Forces and Civil Services.
This unique program emphasizes a 'Whole-of-Nation' approach. It is specifically designed to bridge the gap between military and civil administration, enhancing mutual cooperation, understanding, and operational integration.
Key Objectives of the Training:
- Integrated Operations: Aimed at making the armed forces and civil services function as a cohesive team during national emergencies or strategic operations.
- Mutual Understanding: Lectures and tabletop exercises to familiarize civil servants with military protocols and vice-versa.
- Field Resilience: Practical field drills to prepare for real-world scenarios in the strategically sensitive Kutch region.
By training together at the 'Defenders of Kutch' base, both sectors will be better equipped to handle challenges with a unified strategy, ensuring national security and efficient governance.
The program is seen as a major step towards 'Jointness', fostering a culture of collaboration that is vital for India's strategic interests in the modern era.
