Bhuj, Kutch: To accommodate the heavy passenger traffic during the Rann Utsav and the ongoing festive season in Kutch, Western Railway has announced an additional 8 special train trips between Bandra Terminus and Bhuj. This follows the earlier announcement of 24 special trains for December and January.
The decision comes as a major relief for tourists traveling to the White Desert and for the Kutch community living in Mumbai who wish to visit their hometown during January 2026.
Train Schedule and Details:
1. Bandra Terminus to Bhuj (Train No. 09037)
- Days: Every Thursday and Saturday
- Departure: 02:40 PM from Bandra Terminus
- Arrival: 05:50 AM (Next Day) at Bhuj
- Dates for Jan 2026: 17th, 22nd, 24th, and 29th
2. Bhuj to Bandra Terminus (Train No. 09038)
- Days: Every Friday and Sunday
- Departure: 05:40 PM from Bhuj
- Arrival: 08:30 AM (Next Day) at Bandra Terminus
- Dates for Jan 2026: 18th, 23rd, 25th, and 30th
Booking Information:
Passengers should note that these special trains will operate on Special/Prime Fare. The booking for these additional trips is expected to commence on January 14, 2026, through the IRCTC website and reservation counters.
